Wesleyan MetroPark

1441 Wesleyan Road, Dayton, OH 45406

Wesleyan MetroPark offers a different, equally meaningful expression of Ohio’s outdoor spaces. Located within Dayton’s city limits, this 62-acre park along Wolf Creek blends natural beauty with daily life, making access to green space an integral part of the surrounding community.

Paved and unpaved trails lead visitors down to the creek and along its banks, where water, trees, and wildlife create moments of quiet within an urban setting. A pedestrian bridge and a historic railroad steel truss bridge anchor the park visually, linking its natural landscape with the area’s industrial and transportation history.

Picnic shelters, nature play areas, and conservation zones support both recreation and learning, reinforcing the park’s role as a shared space. Here, the journey is not about distance traveled, but about return. Offering a place where connection to nature is ongoing and accessible.
